Romania’s first AI-powered editorial project resurrects forgotten female pioneers

“Necunoscutele” breaks ground as the first editorial project in Romania to integrate Artificial Intelligence into its creative process, supported by Dove’s “Ai încredere în tine” (Trust Yourself) program.

This volume profiles three firsts: Sofia Ogrezeanu (world’s first female neurosurgeon), Cecilia Cuțescu Storck (Europe’s first female university professor in art education), and Elena Caragiani Stoenescu (Romania’s first female aviator and the world’s first female war correspondent to file reports from an airplane).

Distribution through Libertatea’s collectible book program at 25 lei per volume makes heritage accessible rather than academic. The framing is intergenerational: “poetic stories for young children and older ones alike” – positioning education, culture, and values as shared family currency.

The cause component: 5% of profits fund Ringier Romania Foundation’s “Care for Newborns” campaign, modernizing Romanian hospitals. Purchase becomes participation in two narratives: historical correction and present-day healthcare infrastructure.

Deliverables: Dedicated editorial hub on Unica.ro with 6 articles, collection showcase on colectii.libertatea.ro, native advertising integration, feature coverage in iqads (marketing industry press).
